About this time last year, my friend Dave...took a trip to Tanzania to participate in Aids Walk Africa 2006.....sponsored by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. He has not stopped talking about how amazing that experience was for him....This year I've decided to join Dave and walk with him.

We will be walking at least 10 miles a day…through remote areas of Tanzania. We will walk through tiny villages, visit schools, hospitals and orphanages, and will see firsthand how EGPAF is working directly with the government and people of Tanzania (and numerous other countries) to improve their quality of life.

I know through this experience I will see what a devastating force Aids is in Africa, but more importantly, I will see hope.

As I approach my 50th year of life...I realize that I need to find a way to "give back.".....I've been so lucky and fortunate and I am very grateful for all that life affords me.
